The Dangers of Science Denial

This episode of 1A is one of the most important pieces of journalism in the world right now.

I know that seems like hyperbole. But I am absolutely serious.

The President of the United States is:

• undermining scientific expertise for political purposes,

• advocating for the use of unproven treatments and minimizing the possible dangerous side-effects (Quote from the article: "Currently there is no convincing evidence that hydroxychloroquine helps fight the virus and it can cause unpleasant and harmful side effects in some people."), and

• abandoning science in the face of Covid-19.
